Absolutely. There’s a ton of resources online to learn how to apply makeup. On the other hand, it can be very confusing. There’s SO much information out there. There are so many brands, shades and application techniques…it’s hard to know which one is right for you. That’s where I come in.
Everything you learn is customized to you and your skin type and tone, natural coloring, etc.
I’ve spent the money ( A LOT) and time (over 17 years) learning the best so you don’t have to.
You’ll walk away feeling confident in your choices knowing that you’re using the right products specifically for you and applying it in a way that is best for your unique needs and wants.

Stores like Sephora, Blue Mercury, Nordstrom, and Ulta can be a good starting point if you’re completely new to makeup (and beauty in general), but remember that these store associates are paid or incentivized to sell you certain products. When you come to me, you’re getting:
Unbiased information: I don’t believe one makeup brand is the best for everything, and my job isn’t to sell you anything.
17 years of experience: Store associates also often have minimal training and real-world experience and may not be able to really understand how to address your unique needs.
Step-by-step instruction: exactly what to do, which products and shades to choose with your best interest only in mind.

Salons are amazing! … For hair. Most of the time, their makeup artists are actually just hair stylists who also kinda like makeup on the side, and it’s an additional source of income.
They’re usually not trained and experienced as a specialist who solely focuses on makeup application and lessons. They are HAIR specialists, not makeup specialists.
A professional makeup artist who focuses only on makeup will provide the best Makeup and Skincare experience and be the most knowledgeable. The same way a cardiologist is the best doctor to see for a heart condition (not a Generalist, general practitioner or Internal Medicine Doctor)
